Free Tools
We dug
into our lists and looked into our computers to find some of
the free
tools from
the Internet that we use all the time. Some we just used until
the budget allowed us to get more elaborate software. The truth
is we could still be getting the same job done by using these
free downloads if we had to. Feel free to give us your
recommendations as well. Our goal is to make a list people
would be willing to spend a lot of money for. Yet we plan to
have it all here for free.

Driving Traffic to your
site is a HOT topic. It is a proven seller for
ebooks. Each new book looks at it from a different
side. Yet the next 4 links are where it all starts.
It doesn't take any money to look them over and meditate as to
what they mean. This is how everyone really gets started
in the adsense business. I have just thrown them all
together to make it easier for you to check them out.
They are a great way to train for a career in Internet
Marketing.
One of the most
powerful tools you can have. It does a lot of
things for your business. Check the profitability of a
certain keyword, trend or event. You can check it out to
see if it's popularity in increasing or declining.
This is where I would go before
even starting to create an info product. See if the
product you create has enough interest in it that people will
buy it when it is done. Check the popularity of
an affiliate program as well before you throw time and
money at it. You can pick your next niche to enter this
way. Compare keywords against
keywords. Some keywords are more popular in
certain countries while not in others. You should know
all this info before starting a project. A powerful
tool.

secret weapon for many webmasters for awhile. Search the

why Comcast doesn't fix this. I just get hundreds of
emails saying the link doesn't work. It is your
provider that is causing the problem, my
apologies.

IrfanView, a powerful,
FREE graphics editor, rather than a tool
for creating new graphics. Useful if you are wanting to do
simple tasks, such as converting graphics files, creating
slide shows and so on.
The
Gimp. This is rather a quirky, but
FREE graphics editor, with an unusual
interface. However, it has one advantage over IrfanView in
that it can work with "layers" - useful if you get hold of
image files which are in the "PSD" format.
Gimp Video
Tutorials. 11 free tutorials (text and
video) on using The Gimp software. Very helpful stuff :-)
There are another 25 free Gimp
Tutorial Videos here. These show how to create
some stunning effects with The Gimp - although you have to
download these, rather than watch them online.
PIXresizer, a neat, free bit
of software which lets you resize single or multimple images
and save the output in a variety of graphics formats. You
can also do a few other things with existing images.
Microsoft Pro Photo
Tools. A freebie (!) from Microsoft
that "provides a set of tools for photographers to
perform various tasks with their images—including RAW
captures. The current version enables you to quickly geotag
your photos, view and edit metadata, and more, leveraging
the power of Windows and Microsoft Live Local." This
link is provided without any guarantees. We haven't tested
this software
Copyright-free Commercial Image Sources
- ideal if you want to use someone else's
graphics rather than create your own. One of the best graphics
